China Commercial vehicle have more challenge in India

Recently, India Automobile Manufacturers Association (SIAM) announced the February India commercial vehicle sales data. Data shows, February, India commercial vehicle sales fell to 47982 units, fall 29.8% compared with the same period last year, this also is India commercial vehicle market declined for tenth consecutive months. The rupee exchange rate fall is an important cause of sales decline. In addition, the operation cost rise (such as oil prices) is another reason why the market demand is not strong.

 

For the India market, Chinese commercial vehicle enterprise is "love and hate". On the one hand, India markets have the huge demand; on the other hand, China enterprises face more challenge because of more competition and higher door. The continuous decline in the market environment let Chinese commercial vehicle enterprises treat India more cautious.
